Logan's Success Story: From $3k to $44k a Year

Logan is a 20 year old young man who was enrolled into the STARS Self Sufficiency Program in 2018. Logan came to Sandhills Community Action Program seeking financial assistance for school. He has been accepted in RN Program at Richmond Community College but was not eligible for financial aid. He entered the program working part time at $9.46 an hour for twelve hours a week, which gave him an annual income of $3,191. His case manager helped him join the self-sufficiency program and stay focused on his goals, which included getting his RN License. Thanks to Sandhills Community Action's support, Logan has successfully completed the RN Nursing program and obtained his RN License. He now works full time making $44,425 a year. Logan is off to a bright future and we are very proud of him and all of his accomplishments.

Great work, Sandhills Community Action Program! We are grateful to have you as part of our network!
